Weekly meetings

Our meetings are held on Monday evenings at 7:30 - both online via Zoom and/or at the St John’s Anglican Church, Rutherford Room, 552 Burke Rd., Camberwell.  Parking is usually available in the church carpark.  The club has the following monthly meeting schedule:

First Monday Projected Images alternating with Workshops
Second Monday	External Presenter/Speaker
Third Monday Audio-Visual Group alternating with Digital Group
Fourth Monday Competition Night & Image Critique
Fifth Monday Projected Images

Projected Images Nights

These nights provide members with the opportunity to showcase a collection of their images on a specific topic that demonstrates a particular photographic technique (e.g. macro photography) or genre (e.g. travel, street, landscape or wildlife photography).  These nights tend to be more informal and interactive, allowing members the opportunity to talk about their images, share stories and learn from each other.  Presentation time ranges from 20 to 30 minutes each.  There are usually three to four speakers per night with a coffee break.

Workshops

Workshops are held throughout the year to help members practice and improve their photographic skills.  Some will be linked to the theme for a monthly competition later in the year.  It should be noted that photographs taken at workshops/training events cannot be submitted to club competitions.

External Presenter/Speaker

Each month a visiting speaker – generally a well recognised photographer and/or judge - will give a presentation to members on a selected topic.

Competition Night & Image Critique

Each Competition Night has a topic or theme and entries are judged by an external, experienced photographer.
