Audiovisual group

An audio-visual is a sequence of images supported by and interacting with sounds, voice or music. Among a wide variety of types, some examples include a travel documentary, a description of an event, a presentation of a point of view, or a creation of a mood or feeling.

The purpose of the sequence may be to share an experience with family and friends or to enter a competition. The group is not driven by competition but entering is a useful learning tool. Members are encouraged to put forward their sequences as part of our club’s entry to inter-club competitions. Members are also kept up to date about national and international competitions open to individuals.

The group meets five times a year to share knowledge about techniques, to learn software, to view examples of international standard presentations and to provide feedback on the work of members.

The AV Group has its own YouTube channel displaying a selection of members’ work.
