Jan Krestyn

My first camera was an Etude, a 6×6 cm box camera using 120 roll film. With this fine piece of Soviet thermoplastic, and at the ripe old age of 6, I tried to express my artistic aspirations, usually by stacking up exposures, when I forgot to wind the film roll to the next frame. This was quite often. Many years and four cameras later I have discovered the freedom of digital photography and of the digital ‘darkroom’.

Hi Jan,
That’s an interesting effect used on the ‘Halls of Valhalla’. Great work! How did you go about achieving that look?
